1. Purpose of This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how information is processed in the Shift Calendar & Work Log application, referred to as the “App.”

The developer and provider of the App is JCraft Studio.

For the developer's current email address, contact method and other developer information, please refer to the Developer contact section of the App's Google Play Store listing.

2. Information Entered by Users

Users may enter or create the following information while using the App:

• Work dates and shift types
• Day, night, off-day and leave schedules
• Custom shift types and colors
• Work logs, notes and job-related records
• Reminder times and notification settings
• Language, display preferences and other App settings

This information is used to provide schedule management, work log, statistics, notification, widget, PDF generation, backup and restoration features.

3. Storage and Transmission of Information

3.1 Local Device Storage

Shift schedules, work logs, custom shift types and App settings entered by users are generally stored locally on the user's device.

The Developer does not operate a separate server or cloud database for storing these records and does not automatically transmit these records to a Developer-operated server.

3.2 Home Screen Widgets

When a user adds a home screen widget, a limited portion of schedule information required to display the widget may be stored in local device storage accessible by the App and widget.

Information displayed in a widget may be visible to other people depending on the device's lock-screen and home-screen settings. Users are responsible for deciding whether to use the widget.

3.3 No Developer-Operated Cloud Backup

The App does not provide a cloud backup service operated by the Developer. App data may only be transferred or restored through JSON backup files created and managed directly by the user.

4. JSON Backup and Restoration

When a user activates the backup feature, the App may create a JSON file containing shift schedules, work logs and App settings.

The user selects the location in which the backup file will be saved through the device's system file interface. If the user saves the file to external storage, cloud storage or another service, subsequent processing may be governed by the privacy policy of that storage location or service provider.

When the restore feature is used, the App may read a JSON file selected by the user and apply its contents to the App. Restoration may change or overwrite existing data. Users should separately preserve important information.

5. PDF Generation and Sharing

The App may create PDF documents, including monthly shift schedules, based on information entered by the user.

PDF generation is processed on the user's device to provide the requested feature. When the user selects the sharing feature, the Android system share screen may allow the user to select email, messaging, cloud storage or another external application.

After a PDF file is transferred to an external application or service chosen by the user, the collection, storage, sharing and use of that file are governed by the terms and privacy policy of the external service.

The Developer does not control and is not responsible for the recipient chosen by the user, the processing practices of an external application or the subsequent use of a shared PDF file.

6. Notifications

The App may display local notifications on the device according to a work schedule or a time selected by the user.

The App may request notification permission. Users may allow, deny or modify notification permission at any time through their device settings.

Notification titles or content may appear on a lock screen or notification panel. Visibility depends on the user's device and notification privacy settings.

Reminders are convenience features only. They may be delayed or may not appear because of operating-system settings, battery optimization, manufacturer restrictions, device restarts, App removal or other technical reasons.

7. Advertising and Third-Party Services

The App may use advertising services, including Google AdMob, to support the operation and free availability of the App.

Advertising service providers may automatically process the following information to provide advertisements, limit advertising frequency, measure advertising performance, provide personalized or non-personalized advertising, prevent invalid clicks or impressions, diagnose errors and maintain service security:

• Device or other identifiers, including an advertising identifier
• Device type, operating system and App version
• IP address and approximate location that may be inferred from it
• Advertisement impressions, clicks and interaction information
• App performance, diagnostic, crash and error information
• Technical information such as network and language settings

The specific scope of processing may vary depending on the user's region, device settings, advertising consent status, Google service settings and the policies of the advertising SDK.

Where required by applicable law, the App or Google's consent-management interface may request consent for personalized advertising or related processing. Where available, users may modify their choices through that interface or their device's privacy and advertising settings.

9. App Permissions

The App may use the following permissions or operating-system capabilities to provide its features:

• Notification permission: Used to display shift schedules and reminders selected by the user.
• File access or system file-selection capability: Used when the user selects a location for saving or opening a JSON backup file or PDF document.
• Internet access: May be used to load advertisements and provide advertising services.
• Home screen widget capability: Used to display work schedules on the device's home screen.

The App is not intended to request permissions that are unnecessary for its functions. Permissions actually displayed may vary depending on the device and Android version.

10. Sharing and Sale of Information

The Developer does not sell shift schedules or work logs directly entered by users.

The Developer does not collect such records through a Developer-operated server or arbitrarily provide them to third parties.

Information may nevertheless be transferred to or processed by a third party in the following circumstances:

• When advertising service providers, including Google, process device and advertising-related information to provide advertising services
• When the user directly shares or saves a PDF or backup file through an external application or service
• When necessary to comply with applicable law, a court order or a lawful government request
• When legally permitted and reasonably necessary to protect the rights and safety of users, the Developer or a third party

11. Data Retention and Deletion

11.1 Locally Stored Data

Shift schedules, work logs and App settings may remain on the user's device until the user deletes individual records, uses the App's data-reset function, clears the App's data through operating-system settings or uninstalls the App.

Locally stored App data may not be recoverable after the App is uninstalled or its data is cleared.

11.2 Backup and Shared Files

JSON backup files and PDF documents separately created by the user may remain in the selected storage location even after the App is uninstalled. The user must delete such files directly through a file manager or storage service.

11.3 Advertising Service Data

The retention and deletion periods for information processed by advertising service providers are determined by those providers' policies and the user's advertising settings.

11.4 Account Deletion

The App does not offer registration or creation of a Developer-operated account. Therefore, there is no separate account-deletion procedure.

12. Data Security

The Developer seeks to apply reasonable technical and administrative safeguards to protect information processed through the App.

However, no electronic storage or data-transmission method can guarantee absolute security. Information may be lost or disclosed in circumstances including:

• Loss, theft or unauthorized access to a device
• Malware, device rooting or a modified operating system
• An insecure external storage location
• Sharing a backup or PDF file with another person
• An operating-system, device or external-service failure

Users should take appropriate precautions, including using a device lock, installing operating-system updates and protecting backup files.

13. User Choices and Rights

Users may manage their information and App features by:

• Editing or deleting individual schedules and work logs in the App
• Using the App's data-reset function
• Clearing App data through device settings
• Uninstalling the App
• Modifying notification permission through device settings
• Modifying advertising consent or device advertising settings
• Directly deleting generated JSON and PDF files

Rights relating to information held by an advertising provider may need to be exercised through that provider's privacy tools and procedures.

14. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for general work-schedule and work-record management and is not designed primarily for children.

The Developer does not intentionally collect children's personal information directly through the App. If a parent or guardian discovers that a child has entered personal information into the App, the relevant data should be deleted from the device.

15. User Content and Legal Responsibility

Users are responsible for schedules, notes, work logs and other content that they enter into the App or create as PDF or backup files.

Users must not enter, store or share content that:

• Violates another person's privacy or confidential information
• Infringes copyright, trademark or other intellectual-property rights
• Is defamatory, threatening, discriminatory or related to unlawful conduct
• Violates applicable law or a third party's rights

The Developer does not control the legality, accuracy or consequences of content created or shared directly by users.

16. Copyright and Intellectual Property

Copyright and other intellectual-property rights in the App's software, design, interface, logo, text and content created by the Developer belong to the Developer or the applicable rights holder.

Except as permitted by applicable law, users may not reproduce, modify, distribute, resell, reverse engineer or commercially exploit all or any part of the App without prior authorization from the Developer.

Android, Google Play, Google AdMob and other Google names and marks are the property of Google LLC or their respective rights holders. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the App is not an official Google application and is not produced, sponsored or endorsed by Google.

Open-source software and third-party libraries used by the App remain subject to their respective licenses and copyright notices.

17. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The App is a convenience tool intended to assist users in managing work schedules and work records. Schedules, statistics, notifications, widgets and PDF documents provided by the App do not replace official attendance records, payroll records, employment-contract evidence or legally recognized workplace documentation.

Users should independently verify important schedules, leave, payroll, attendance records and work instructions against official information provided by their employer or organization.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. The Developer does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, complete accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose, including in relation to:

• Delayed or missing notifications
• Delayed widget updates
• Device changes, operating-system updates or App errors
• Data loss, backup failure or restoration errors
• PDF generation or external sharing errors
• The content or operation of advertisements and external services

Except where caused by the Developer's intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or where liability cannot legally be limited, the Developer will not be liable, to the extent permitted by applicable law, for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses resulting from use of or inability to use the App.

Nothing in this section limits consumer rights that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

18. External Services and Links

The App or advertisements may include links to websites, applications or services operated by third parties.

Third-party services are not controlled by the Developer. Their content, security, availability, products, advertisements and processing of personal information are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

19. International Data Processing

Third-party advertising providers, including Google, may operate servers and services in multiple countries. Advertising-related information may therefore be processed outside the user's country of residence.

International transfers and related safeguards are governed by the privacy policy of the applicable service provider and applicable law.

20. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be revised when App features, third-party services, applicable laws or Google Play policies change.

Material changes may be communicated through an App update, an in-App notice, the Google Play listing or this page.

A revised Privacy Policy takes effect on the effective date posted on this page. Users are encouraged to review this page periodically.

21. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy and matters concerning use of the App may be interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Korea, except where doing so would conflict with mandatory laws applicable to a user.

Where mandatory privacy or consumer-protection laws apply in a particular jurisdiction, those laws may take precedence.
